The AFL has launched the NAB AFL Auskick season in Victoria with 80 young 'Auskickers' from all over the state getting an exclusive footy experience at the MCG yesterday.

The NAB AFL Auskick participants were put through their paces by AFLW players Maddy Prespakis and Grace Egan alongside AFL players Max King, Jack Billings and Brodie Grundy.

AFL Executive General Manager Game Development Rob Auld said it was wonderful to see the kids run out onto the MCG to mark the occasion.

"I’m excited to announce that majority of the 800+ Victorian locations will be commencing their season after the Anzac Day weekend. Over the coming few weeks, more than 100,000 kids around Australia will be back at NAB AFL Auskick Centres.

"NAB AFL Auskick is for everyone aged 5 – 12, and kids with any skill level or understanding of the game can play. It is non-contact, safe, and inclusive for all abilities. It provides children with the opportunity to connect with their peers, make friends and gain confidence.

"Registrations are still open and we want to encourage kids, families, volunteers, and coaches to get back to their local clubs and to enjoy and play the game they love.

"Football is the pillar of many local communities, and we are committed to ensuring community football continues to provide a place of belonging for all," said Auld.
