The Metro Junior Development Series is Victoria's premier under 14s and 15s development program for metropolitan boys and girls footballers.
For many Victorian metro footballers and officials, the Metro Junior Development Series provides a pathway to higher level talent programs and for some it is a step towards a career in the AFL or AFLW.
The competition will be played across Queen's Birthday Weekend (Saturday 11 Jun - Monday 13 Jun) and will include representative teams from the Eastern Football and Netball League (EFNL), Essendon District Football League (EDFL), Northern Football Netball League (NFNL), Riddell District Football Netball League (RDFNL), South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL), Western Region Football League (WRFL), Yarra Junior Football League (YJFL) and AFL South East (AFLSE) regions.
