Women's Coaching Month to return | Be Part of the Change!

23 JUN 2022 BY: AFL VICTORIA

The AFL is set to launch Women's Coaching Month Presented by BHP on Friday 1 July, 2022, with the entire month of July dedicated to celebrating women in coaching across all levels of the game, promoting coaching as a pathway for women and girls in the football community and recruiting more women in to coaching.

Women's Coaching Month returns in 2022 after the success of the inaugural campaign in 2021 and provides an opportunity to celebrate and promote Women in Coaching with a series of programs & initiatives both at a national and state level.

As part of the initiative, we're asking clubs around the country to submit a photo and/or video of a female coach who has made a significant contribution to the game, along with a short summary of that contribution.

These stories will then be shared across various AFL State & Territory digital/social media channels throughout the month of July.
