Richmond Football Club Social Impact and Sustainability Manager, Rita Nehme commented on the draft and the upcoming season.
"We are thrilled to welcome seven new players to the Richmond VWFL team this year. We're excited to have Jude as the well-deserving first pick for the 2022 VWFL season. Jude played with Richmond in the 2018 season and it's great to have him back with the Tigers this year. In addition to being an outstanding player on the court with exceptional footy skills, Jude's positive attitude and great energy will bring a lot of value and excitement to our team."
Captain, Chris Henderson spoke about the excitement the new players will bring to the club.
"We too are so excited to have a player of Jude’s skills and football talents as well as his character which is going to be a real acquisition. Likewise to have Teisha and Matt both out of retirement is so exciting for the Tigers. Adding Chris, Bryant and josh to the team also adds some real top end talent and some genuine depth to our existing list."
