TAC Towards Zero Club Grant

27 MAR 2019

After 27-years of partnership with AFL Victoria, the TAC has made the decision to invest directly into grassroots football clubs right across the state over the next three years.

TAC is committed to helping Victorians understand that everyone has a role in ensuring road safety. With local sporting clubs being one of the key drivers of social change, TAC are providing a funding pool of $300,000 for year one of the grants program roll out to clubs in AFL Barwon, AFL Goldfields and Metropolitan regions who get involved and share the message that a future with zero deaths and serious injuries on our roads is possible.

In 1970, there were 1,061 lives lost on Victorian roads, and while advances in road safety technology and greater driver education has seen that figure decline to 213 in 2018, this is still 213 too many.

By getting involved and sharing the Towards Zero message, clubs can receive up to $10,000.
