Herald Sun Shield action continues - results and fixtures

The 2022 Herald Sun Shield interschool football competition continues this week with Intermediate Girls Division Two teams to play on Tuesday August 16 for Grand Final spots, while the Senior Boys Division Two title will be decided on Wednesday August 17. 

MacKillop College Werribee and Padua College, Mornington will contest the Senior Boys Division Two Grand Final at Williamstown Football Ground on Wednesday, with the game starting at 2pm. 

MacKillop College Werribee is representing the Sports Association of Catholic Co-educational Secondary Schools (SACCSS), while Padua College came through as the best team from the Southern Independent Schools (SIS) association. Padua defeated a combined team representing Christian Schools Events Network (CSEN) in the semi-final 20.10 (130) to 5.4 (34) at Craigieburn last week, while MacKillop progressed directly through to the decider.

At Casey Fields on Tuesday, four teams – Avila College, Padua College, Maribyrnong College and Mt Lilydale Mercy College - will contest the Intermediate Girls Division Two lightning carnival round robin, with matches commencing at 10am.
