AFL Community Camps return in 2023

The AFL Community Camp program is set to return to what it was pre-COVID, with AFL clubs scheduled to visit regional communities around the country throughout February and early March. Visit the link for a full list of the camps.
For the past two years, AFL clubs have conducted community camps virtually because of the pandemic. This year, more than 700 AFL players will be back visiting communities, meeting fans and inspiring the next generation in person.
In what is the 21st year of the AFL Community Camp program, activities will include local school, club and hospital visits, NAB AFL Auskick Super Clinics and community events with the opportunity to meet AFL players and coaches.
Nine AFL clubs will visit locations across Victoria. See the full list below.
AFL Executive General Manager Game Development, Rob Auld, said: “In 2023, AFL clubs and players have an exciting opportunity to get back to meeting fans and giving back to communities through the AFL Community Camp program.
“Local towns and communities across the country are so important to the game and the AFL Community Camps program is a fantastic platform for our elite players and coaches to spend time in communities, which can have a significant positive impact.
“I would like to thank the clubs, players and staff for their role in bringing the AFL Community Camps back to what we know them to be and also the local communities across the country for welcoming and hosting AFL clubs and players.”
Since the camps began in 2003, more than one million children have been reached during school and club visits across Australia.
