Ivanhoe Grammar, Padua win Herald Sun Shield Div 2 Girls titles
The 2024 Herald Sun Shield Division 2 Girls competitions have concluded for another year, with Padua College going back-to-back in the Intermediate Girls, and Ivanhoe Grammar School taking out the Senior Girls title.
The Division 2 Intermediate Girls games were played round robin style at Casey Fields, with the top team in each Pool facing off in the Grand Final that afternoon, whilst the Senior Girls competed across two separate days at Casey Fields, with the winner of Pool A facing the winner of Pool B in the standalone Grand Final the following week at Skinner Reserve.

Intermediate Girls Grand Final
Last year's Premiers Padua College were dominant once again, qualifying for the Intermediate Girls Grand Final after winning all of their Pool B games. Padua College faced off against Pool A winner Luther College, and proved to be the top side once again, winning back-to-back Div 2 Herald Sun Shield titles.
Scarlett Marsh was a force to be reckoned with all day, scoring at least one goal in each game she played, earning her the best on ground medal for the second year in a row!

Senior Girls Grand Final
The Senior Girls competition saw two new schools making the Grand Final, with Ivanhoe Grammar School facing off against Our Lady of Sion College, with both schools displaying complete dominance in their respective Pool games, both keeping their final opponents scoreless to qualify for the Grand Final.
On Grand Final day, Ivanhoe Grammar proved why they were the top team in their Pool, with a huge win over Our Lady of Sion to claim the 2024 Herald Sun Shield Division 2 title.
Marlo Graham continuously won the ball out of the middle for Ivanhoe and had a number of score involvements as well as a goal in the second half. With the most disposal of anyone at the ground at a high efficiency, it was no surprise that she was awarded the best on ground medal.
