Players from the Carlton Football Club showed their support for the return of Victorian community footy in a big way with players wearing jumpers of the junior/local club teams at training this week.

After 18 months of no footy across the state, senior metro and country leagues have been starting to come back in recent weeks, while thousands of junior club footballers and Auskickers will return to the field with junior competitions and Auskick centres starting up again.

For any kids keen to get involved in either Auskick (5-12yo) or junior club footy (U8s – U18s), go to play.afl to find your local club, even if you just want to give it a try. If your child is not ready for club footy then no problem, they can stay in Auskick until the age of 12, which many will do after missing a full season.
