What is AFL Victoria?

AFL Victoria covers 12 Regions, 115 Leagues and 1942 Clubs. Part of AFL Victoria's role is to oversee, support and guide football bodies across the State.

Victorian Country Football League (VCFL)

Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA)

AFL Victoria's development arm, AFL Victoria Development; is responsible for the growth and development of australian rules football in this State. This includes overseeing the management of over 500 Auskick clinics throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria.

In February 2002, the Victorian Amatuer Football Association, the Victorian Country Football League and Victoria's 11 Metropolitan Football Leagues, Dandenong and Districts Football League, Diamond Valley Football League, Eastern Football League, Essendon District Football League, Moorabbin Saints Junior Football League, Riddell District Football League, Riddell District Junior Football League, Southern Football League, Waverlery Junior Football League, Western Region Football League and Yarra Junior Footbal League all became direct affiliate members of AFL Victoria.
