Youth Girls fly high with Hawks
AFL Victoria's Youth Girls Academy will team-up with Hawthorn stars for the HighMarks program.
The HighMarks 2009 program runs from Thursday, July 2 to Saturday, July 4 at Hawthorn Football Club's Waverley base.
The academy players will each be alloted a Hawthorn mentor for the week.
Activities include a tour of the club, train with the players, receive expert coaching and undertake several information sessions.
These include talks by Hawthorn's dieticians and medical professionals, first year AFL players, reporter Kelli Underwood, Hawthorn recruiter Chris Pelchen and Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson.
On Friday night, the players will visit the MCG for the Collingwood versus Essendon AFL match.
