AFL South East Chairman Roger Hampson has today announced that John Anderson has been appointed as Region General Manager of the AFL South East Commission.
John, who has been in an interim role since late January 2017, has now been appointed to the role on a permanent basis following a competitive recruitment process conducted by the Commission in conjunction with AFL Victoria.

Prior to HRV, John was the CEO of the Melbourne Football Club during a successful four year period for the club, which included a grand final appearance in 2000.
In addition, John has held multiple senior management roles within AFL Clubs, and was also Deputy Chief Executive of the Olympic Park Management Group for six years.
